The Company is mainly engaged in business activities, such as Research, development, designing, manufacturing, sales, installation, and maintenance and servicing of equipment and systems related to power transmission and distribution (hereafter referred to the “Business Activities”.) In the Business Activities, the Company will notify our customers of, or disclose to our customers, the purpose, method, etc. of the use of personal information, and acquire personal information within a reasonable scope. |

To perform the Business Activities, the Company will utilize personal information within the scope necessary for achieving any of the objectives specified in the following subparagraphs, and properly handle the information in accordance with the established rules;

Other purposes notified or disclosed to our customers. |

| 3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties |

Without the prior approval of our customers, the Company will not provide any third party with the personal information of our customers, except for the cases specified in relevant laws or regulations. |

| 4. Outsourcing of the Handling of Personal Information |
| |
If the Company commissions a third party to handle personal information, the Company will make a strict investigation of the third party and will supervise the third party to force it to maintain secrecy in a proper manner. |

| 5. Management of Personal Information |
| |
To ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information, the Company will make every effort to prevent the loss, destruction, alteration, leakage, etc. of personal information by implementing countermeasures, such as access control, restrictions on the means of transferring our personal information, prevention of illegal access from outside, etc., in accordance with various rules of information security. |

| 6. Respect for Our Customers’ Rights Concerning Their Personal Information |

The Company acknowledges that our customers have a right to ask for the disclosure, revision, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of their personal information. If requested by our customers, therefore, the Company will faithfully respond to such requests by giving respect to our customers’ rights. |

| 7. Organization and System |

The Company will properly handle personal information by nominating an office in charge of personal information management in accordance with our personal information protection rules. |

| 9. Governing laws |
| |
This principle is based on the laws of Japan.The validity or interpretation of the principle and other matter in relation to the handling of personal information shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. |
